Jim Gehrels and Glenn Stronks are two men making a difference in the effort to bring clean water and sanitation to the world's poor, but you won't hear them extolling their own virtues, except to raise money for their work. They are the founders of Lifewater Canada, based in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Lifewater Canada works primarily in Africa: Liberia (mostly), Kenya, Zambia and Nigeria; and Haiti.
Recently, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) aired an interview with Jim and Glenn in which they discussed their work in Liberia.
I'm extolling their virtues because Jim, Glenn, and their organization are doing amazing, selfless things.

This is a truly great organization !!
Almost 100% of your donation is spent on the projects thanks to all their Volunteers doing the Administrative work or out in the field digging wells.
I sponsored a Sanitation and Hygiene workshop in 2006 and will do the same for Haiti in 2008.
Please, take a moment from your busy life and check out their website LifeWater.ca
