How about this - a symposium on wells!
We will be convening this one-day symposium on 11 December 2008. We have a great speaker lineup, and Kevin McCray, the Executive Director of the National Ground Water Association, will keynote.
Here's the blurb:
National, state, and local experts will convene on December 11, 2008 at the Northwest Viticulture Center in Salem, Oregon for a one-day symposium reexamining the importance of ground water and wells to the well-being of Oregonians.
- The Oregon Water Resources Department will describe regulatory obstacles and opportunities.
- OSU Sea Grant Extension will describe their efforts at training well owners to collect water level data in areas designated as ground water limited.
- Kevin McCray, Executive Director of the 14,000 member National Ground Water Association, will present the keynote address on the ground water industry in the USA.
Registration is just $40 (includes lunch), but rises to $50 on 5 December.
