From Dr. Dave Sabatini:
The OU International WaTER Conference is shaping up to be a very exciting event! We have over 70 oral and poster presentations with first authors from at least 14 countries presenting on work in 25 nations covering a range of topics (technical, anthropological, sociological, cultural and legal) relevant to water and sanitation in remote villages. The highlight of the conference will be the plenary lecture by and presentation of the first OU International WaTER Prize to Dr. Steve Luby, as well as the keynote lectures by invited speakers. Plus all the contributed presentations from universities and NGOs from across the US and abroad. You can see why we are so excited! This post serves as a reminder of the upcoming deadline for early regitration.
Prior to 8 September conference registration is $190, which includes entrance to all poster and oral presentations, plenary lectures, two breakfasts, four breaks, two lunches, a social, and one dinner banquet. After 8 September the registration fee is $290.
Register now! We look forward to seeing you in Norman, OK, 26-27 October 2009! And don't forget the half-day post-conference workshop on 28 October!
