Finally back on track with TGIF! after a week off. There is enough to keep you occupied with plenty of displacement behavior.
I'm still in Central America, now in
Nicaragua, ensconced at the 'fabulous' Best Western Las Mercedes Hotel, whose main attribute is its location just across the street from Managua's international
airport. The hotel also has a wide assortment of wildlife on its grounds (it's an old-fashioned sprawling motel), few of which are found inside
the rooms. But I've never been bitten.
I am looking forward to seeing Natalia Raudez and Laura Espinoza García (shown here in a 2009 picture), former SUSIE students, and Rob Bell and other El Porvenir folks before heading home to Mary Frances on 3 July.
Note: to access a story, click on the link beginning with 'http://', 'is.gd', or 'bit.ly'. Clicking on a link beginning with '@' will take you to that person's Twitter account; clicking on a link beginning with '#' will take you to a Twitter list containing Tweets about a particular topic.
Some items may not have a hot link to a story, which is fine - it may have been just an informational item or a personal message to someone. Or, I may have screwed up and forgotten the link!
Enjoy!
