UNESCO Infographic: Water and Energy for a Sustainable Future

The good folks at UNESCO have assembled this infographic.

From the webpage:
Globally the demand for water and energy is soaring. Yet in many parts of the world, people live without access to either. Our infographic shows how we can bring water and energy to all, through collective action in finding new ways to save and produce these vital resources - see more here.

The figures look okay, although the woeful underestimate of people who have access to clean water - 768 million - is off by a factor of four. It's more like 3 billion (estimated by another UNESCO division).

The relationship between water and energy go right into the suburb and City. The ninaaccesspathway.com with its global impact, saves water and energy, and with roofs, collects solar and water to be able to be redistributed locally.
