Here in the USA we are celebrating Presidents' Day - a time to honor car dealers, furniture and appliance salespersons, and the like.
Seriously - we use this day to honor all those who have served as president. Our first President, George Washington, was born on 22 February 1732, and Abraham Lincoln was born on 12 February 1809.
When I was a child we celebrated those two days individually; there was no Presidents' Day.
