Storms still bringing yet more snow to the Sierra.....mostly rains here at the homestead so have temporarily put the snow shovels aside. Some locales in the Sierra have received more than 600inches of snow so far this winter!!! Crystal-clear view Sunday of Mt. Rose and Slide Mountain....blanketed in SNOW!
Even thinking forward to redoing the flower garden this Spring ... But then, it is only mid-March as the snowflakes reminded me yesterday!
I recall one Sierra Nevada winter - 1983, I believe - where the unofficial gage near Donner Summit registered over 800 inches!
