Congratulations to Courtney van Stolk, who received her MS in Geography from OSU. See her blog pots here and Gazetter-Times article here.
Enjoy!
I will miss her.
Yesterday I 'ran across' my all-time favorite road sign: it's on California Highway 89 just north of the Truckee town limits. I am guessing the author has an offbeat (morbid?) sense of humor, a lack of complete knowledge about the Donner Party, or indifference.
The sign has no doubt brought puzzlement to the faces of many lo these many years.
Enjoy!
