Many thanks for the post from Bert Bell of the balmy days of summer in Blythe!!
I have fond and some not so fond memories of having weathered summer times there. But being on the margin of the Colorado River, it is not the heat that gets you...it is the humidity!!
Still never got as hot in Blythe as the summer I passed through Gila Bend (no AC in the car) and the temp was 126 degrees.
